Performance
May 19 ~7pm at ArtReach Toronto Youth Arts Showcase (event is 5-8pm),
Art Gallery of Ontario, Waker Court, 317 Dundas Street West.
Moments of Force: In
this performance, IMPACT students demonstrate their skills in two South
Asian performance & martial arts - banethi & kalari. These
movements began as sword-training and attack-defense patterns. Watch
and enjoy the skill, focus, coordination, concentration and beauty
demonstrated by these young performing artists, accompanied by Punjabi dhol drumming.
Demonstrations
April 20th, 10am-1pm at Yonge Centre for the Performing Arts, 55 Mill
Street, Distillery District. Performing during press conference for
Culture Days.
Workshop-Demonstrations February

Martin Grove Rd., in partnership with Pathways to Education - Rexdale.

Tuesdays 2:30-4 pm at SKETCH - Working Arts for Street Involved & Homeless Youth, 580 King St. West.
Wednesdays 4:30-6pm July 7th through August 25th at the Regent Park North Lawn. The Lawn is N.of 600 Dundas, E.of 251 Sackville & W.of 230 Sumach.
Thursdays 6:30-8 pm, Malvern Community Recreation Centre, 30 Sewells Rd., Scarborough.
Fridays, 2:30-3:30, Market Lane Public School, 246 The Esplanade. In our second year as a Community Arts Partner in 'Artful Connections: The Many Faces of Market Lane', IMPACT currently works with the grade 7/8 classes.
